I think the reason that we have some really hurt feelings here isn't just because of the worry we all felt but because we had a different relationship with Vince than these people at rrtech. We spent our vacations with Vince - traveled with him. I have respect for many people on the forum but the ones that I call my friends are the ones that I have met in real life. I'm sure I am not alone feeling this way. Its not nice to feel betrayed by a friend.

As far as his false claims of military service (I am assuming that everything about him is false) - does that fall under the Stolen Valor Act?

All of this makes me wonder what the end game was here. Not enough night life where they live & needed entertainment; con game; actual deep seated psychosis; or a potpourri of all these.

Any way you look at this my prayers are still with them. Clearly there are issues here and I pray they are able to resolve them without anyone else being a victim.
