If it's latex paint, then denatured alcohol will get it off pretty fast and good. This is a good product to use when you have dried latex on woodwork in the house. if it's oil base then that's a different issue as that won't work. And then you need mineral spirits which may affect the clearcoat and or paint as they are ol based acrylics too.
