One thing to think about, all these cars are subtly different, especially this color, some more blue/green/gray. You may want to send one piece to the potential buyer and have him put it in the sun with his clean car to make sure they are perfect. Even a slight discoloration would make them look silly IMHO.
Thanks for the props boiler!
It's true, there is an extremely subtle difference in the color due to the different material types. For the most part though, unless your car has been sitting out in the sun for 6 years straight paint discoloration is almost a non-issue. I can't afford to keep shipping pieces just to see if the color matches (in an optimal world I could do this), but it's going to be pretty darn close... buyer keep this in mind please. I notice no difference between the color of my graphite and the pieces.
Pictures attached. Sorry I don't have better quality, they were taken this morning just before my flight with my only digital "camera" (iphone) so I'll try to describe everything. The florescent lighting is making it seem lighter than it really is in a few photos, but you get the idea. In the 4th picture you can kinda see these little nicks, some meguiars products should be able to mask it for the most part. As I said before, there's no way to tell from standing more than a foot or two away from the car, and you have to look at it just right. There is also a small spot on the top trim piece that is slightly darker. I tried to find it this morning but couldn't... so that should tell you how minuscule the blemish is.
Responding to PMs... also, I think $300 is more than reasonable for these pieces all things considered. It looks 10,000x better than the stock silver pieces.
