I believe the only difference between models is the roadsters have speed sensitive volume but I think the amp is exactly the same just extra wireing on the roadster. I'd check all the markings etc. to make sure the model/part number is the same, if so there should be no issue. Might want to wait for others to chime in though I'm no expert.
