Default Swiss Alps

I drove the Crossfire down to the Swiss/Italian border area over Memorial day weekend. Both ways down and back I went over the Alps through an amazing pass.

The drive on the way down was quite an experience. I was stuck outside a 15 mile long tunnel and decided going over the pass was better than that noise. I could see the top of the mountain was cloud covered and knew I would be in fog for the top 1/3 with no view. When I got into the clouds the temp dropped from 60 to 33 degree, with 100 yards vis and snowing sideways! 20 minutes later I popped out the other side and all was well, just didn't see a thing up top.

On the way back it was awesome. 55 to 60 degrees, sunny and fresh snow and waterfalls. The views were amazing and the drive was breathe taking, literally. Between the atlitude, kick *** old cobble stone road (got off main road), and slight hypoxia I was smiling and giggling like a little girl.

Great drive!
