Detectors only work if the officer is lazy, and leaves his gun on full time. Most officers here in CO are lazy, and leave their KA on all the time. Some are sneaky and use LIDAR, but are sloppy and I get hints of them a car or two ahead, and can get a moment of warning when traffic in front slams on their brakes in reaction to noticing a man pointing a gun at them from the side of the road.
If he's sneaky, and uses instant on, waiting for the right prey, you won't stand a chance.
I also recommend the V1.
But, it won't help at all if they use VASCAR.
