Have you adjusted the settings in the unit's GUI? For my avh-p7500dvd which is very similar to the N2, there is a screen to turn speakers on and off and another to adjust crossover points. It could easily be that they are currently turned off. If that doesn't help, then it would have to be a wire connection issue.
