No its not straight...Its hard to weld on straight and my clamp wont wrap around the body so I had to put into a vise....the minute I throw a tack on~ it moves, so I got it as close as I could...I need to buy some bigger clamps to hold on both ends so the bracket doesn't move. Maybe Ill make my own brackets on the next one...I just figured these were already made and pre holed and were ten bucks...would taken me an hour or 2 to make. I did cut some corners. But its only my second one. The one Im working on now will be a little different...pics to come
I only have a film camera but I'll post up soon a one-off muffler hanger I designed that want let the mufflers wiggle while welding or during a rear end collision. I got the design idea by starring at a young womans tramp stamp tatoo on her lower back while standing in the grocery store line. I have it sent out right now for polishing.
