Then again, I drove for a living for 2 years, and I work for everything I have. The real problem will be the kids whose parents buy the cars for them. If you can't appreciate the work that goes into paying for the XF, it won't get treated properly. Like a rental car.
In most cases, I'd have to agree with you. In mine, I disagree. I'm 18 and I have 37,XXX miles on mine and I treat it with utmost respect. I'm only speaking for a handful of young XF drivers that are actually grateful to have a car that will go down in history as a rare classic. My SRT6 will never be treated as a rental.
But on a bell shaped curve, again I agree with you. It appears that most young XF owners treat their car as only a powerful and stylish way to get them from A to B.
