All I did was run the 1/4" semi rigid hose, that came with it, down the dip stick tube till it bottomed out and started hand pumping.

It sucked all the oil out in about five minutes, thereby eliminating all the hassles with jacking up the car and removing the shroud to get to the drain plug.

I am sure whoever put the oil filter right in the front of the car next to the oil fill cap figured that we should be using an evacuator to remove the oil and the whole job can be done in no time.
