.....Ken, thanks for the info on the IC. FYI, I've been washing and detailing cars since the mid-60's, and almost always wash the undercarriage each time with a regular garden hose (typically, about 40 psi) and nozzle, and have NEVER had a problem, so wash away!....
Bob, cars sold on this forum usually command a thicker margin than those sold anonymously on trading vehicles like Ebay. it is the esprit de corps of the forum that permits this. Please do your best to reconcile these conflicting statements.
Wow..... really????? Bob has stated that this car is a garage queen, so I would doubt that it has been washed much if any in the 5 months that he has owned it. Most people that have garage queens that know anything about detailing would use a detail spray and not let water touch the paint. I read the entirety of his post that you quoted, not just the snippet that you posted, and did not see anywhere in the post where he stated that he had washed the undercarriage of this Crossfire. He was making a comment of his nearly 50 years experience of car detailing. I agree that full disclosure is imperative when selling a vehicle on this forum, but I do believe that you made a grand leap with your assumptions on this one. JMO anyway.
