The billet grilles remind me of the steps on an escalator or those cow gates.
I saw a billet grille that had scratched the paintwork up really badly during assembly.
As always, it's up to personal preference -- but I'm with you guys, I really like the OEM grill. I understand why some would want to change it to make it unique or to personalize it, but I see so few of these on the road anyway it screams unique even as a OEM.
