I find your narrow mindedness sad... Because the material in question was originally designed for a garage door and people have found other great uses for it in other applications makes in inferior? You might not know this but tape and screws are quite common materials in cars.


I'm with you on not doing this on my SRT because in IMO it just wouldn't look right. Doing this to my Honda FIT doesn't look out of place in any way and actually looks good in that application IMO. Also like I said my wifes driving habits leave much to be desired. If I can somewhat save the factory body kit and replace as needed this rubber lip then I am pleased with it.

An under tray panel under the engine alone will net a proven two mpg gain in the FIT application.
