I've had a code for the camshaft sensor(not crankshaft)for like 4 weeks, but car was running fine. Now the last few days 1 out of 8 starts it has problems starting and today it died while waiting in line at taco bell. I disconnected the battery and connected it again and then it started.
What I'm wondering is, is it unrelated, may be a bad battery or other problem, or would a bad sensor cause this?
Bad crankshaft sensor will cause it. If you still have the white oem battery, you may want to replace it while you are at it.
