Default N/A OEM Rims, Stripe on spokes?

I've seen some pictures of guys that have painted the groove in the center of the spoke on the N/A OEM (7 spoke) rims black, while leaving the rims silver.

Such as in this picture: Clicky Clicky

I like the idea, but I want to get my rims powdercoated black...

My first question is,

Would a shop be able to powdercoat my rims black, while also powdercoating the groove a dark charcoal gray? (Probably in two different steps, i'm not super familiar with the process so I don't really know)

The second question is,

Does anyone think this would look weird? (I drive an '05 Black N/A)

After much debating in my own brain, i've tentatively decided to get my door handles, fender strakes, front splitter (when I get it), and some other misc. parts and pieces painted a dark charcoal grey. I am definitely going to get my rims powdercoated black, but I think adding color down low would be nice. (considering caliper paint, but with the 7 spoke design you don't really see the calipers all that much anyway)

Also not sure on whether to go matte or gloss....

Anyway, aside from the first question this is all a matter of opinion, so i'm interested to hear all of yours.

Thanks,
Eric Henderson
