Re: Uh Oh. WTF is going here. The alarm won't turn off!
And to my surprise, only after disconnecting the battery prior to leaving it at work yesterday, I come back to it today and everything works as though nothing ever happened. I disconnected it yesterday thinking MAYEB the OEM system was not backed up by a rechargeable. Only to find out the siren just cycled over and over until I reconnected the battery. Closed it up, physically locked it and left. Today, my Viper 5900 operated the locks, chirps, and lights like normal. So... what sort of preventative maintenance would you think is necessary or, perhaps for next time is there a sure way to shut it up and get it started?
PS. I did replace the batteries in both my viper remote and oem remote after the first incident yesterday with no luck in finding a solution yesterday. I was in the parking lot for about 30 minutes before leaving it overnight. Weird.
