As apparently one of the few female owners here (and not because my husband bought one for me so I wouldn't drive his ), I get more notices from younger guys who (I guess) wonder if the car is mine or belongs to one of my kids (got none so therefore I don't have to share). Plus she's that lovely brilliant red, and living in the Tx/Mx border, sort of stands out in a stubby way against the sea of ginormous trucks. I think that I've seen a handful of other XFs in my area, but I think I'm the only red one.

People ask me more about how fast she is (fast enough) and what kind of car it is, and wow! it's a 6-speed? And if I really like it - of course. Part of being 'seasoned' is that I don't have to drive a car that looks like everyone else out there.
