I am not trying to get too personal, just offering some advice.
As a relatively younger owner, I say that if you are stretching to spend 10% more than the purchase price on the warranty, you may want to rethink some things. While I would not purchase a warranty, I am aware that expenses can and will arise with this car, as Franc said, its a Benz. With that comes great reliability, but also great expense when the reliability takes a hit. With tires being ~$800-$1000 on the inexpensive side (lasting 20K miles at the most) and oil change well over $100, I just want to make sure you are not so hampered by a car payment you can not afford premium gas and mobile1 to treat her right, and if an expense arises, I would hate to see that force a sale on a car with such dodgy resale value.
