Resurrecting this thread again to say thanks to arado. I also painted my grille silver using wheel paint and it really looks great. I got a couple of "spits" from the can that will need to be sanded out or buffed lightly, but other than that it came out super.
On the black coupe, the color matching of the grill with the wheels, windshield surround, door handles, etc. really ties the color scheme together since the front was the only area of the car missing this color combination. I think, on the black car at least, this beats the chrome I was considering.
Thanks again- your pics pushed me to it and the whole family thinks it made a world of difference (in a good way).
