Since you cannot say for certain that it is installed correctly, you are making a big leap calling everyone else that bought one of these a sucker. And, I do not think that you were a sucker for buying one either. I think you were unfortunate to get a Sprint Booster that is not functioning for one of the two reasons above.
I hope you get this issue resolved and get the opportunity to feel the difference that a working SB makes. In the mean time, please do not dissuade others from purchasing a product that has received rave reviews by everyone else in this community that has purchased one. Your bad experience does not mean that this is a bad product.
If this thing can be installed backward, or wrong, why don't they give some decent instructions, I don't often knock a product, but "everybody" said this was "gold" and with me it wasn't. I really wish it worked I really do, some one suggested I do multiple throttle resets, so I'll give it a shot, but if they will take it back, I think that is probably my best bet. If everyone else is happy then "great", I'm glad for them and you, but for me it just makes no difference, and all the problems installing it were not worth the truble. If this BMW guy hadn't helped me, the car would have had to be towed, cause it would not start, when I got done with it the first time, the second time I did it put it in gear and it just sit there...not fun. Maybe I'm the only guy that owns a crossfire, that got a bad one, but that just don't seem likely, so now what.
