It would be only as good as the info put in and how many would update their record if they scrapped the car .... not many. Many cannot follow up with results when they have asked for help.
There are more cars out there than members and without a representative number the idea falls apart.
Garbage in garbage out.
Many cars have been identified in the owners list here, how many have updated it when they sold or scrapped their car?
