I also think those prices are closer to reality than NADA and KBB for people selling private party. I posted this in another thread, but I've been shopping for a SRT6 coupe nationally for the past 6 months. For completely stock, SRT6 coupes, the best deals I didn't take (because I decided they were too far away) were a 2005 gray SRT6 coupe with 38,000, certified one-owner, for $15,250 at a dealer in Ohio and $15,500 for a 2005 aero blue SRT6 coupe with 38,000, two-owner, for $15,500 private party in Indiana. Both were in fantastic shape.

People asking NADA and KBB private party prices will be trying to sell for a long time, at least based on my experience. The demand just doesn't exist. Unless you happen across the right buyer and the right time, then all bets are off. But that's not something you can usually count on.
