What a mistake. I owned a '03 VW Bug Convertible 1.8T. It was a nice car with the 1.8 turbo engine, big 18" VW upgraded wheels, 6 spd tiptronic. The car was orange with black interior. It was a neat car and fast and very retro, HOWEVER the car wound up being a lemon and was replaced with a new Audi A4. The car was just a nightmare, the convertible top would jam all the time and the electronic convt top boot lids would stay up in the open position, the transmission went into limp mode like 3 times, the sunvisor fell when i hit a speed bump, stereo was replaced due to faulty buttons falling into the stereo when pressed, etc.

I agree with the point your trying to make, the Crossfire is definitely a step up from a convt. bug anytime. Now why he chose that car after the XFire is puzzling. They are two totally different types of vehicles.
