I just bought one this weekend for $15k, 100% stock, 38,000 miles, great shape, private party in Omaha. I was the only person that even went to look at the car in the month it was listed for sale.
I worked pretty hard to find one, and looked at probably a dozen for sale over the past 6 months. Based on what I saw, $14,750-$15,500 is the range where people are actually buying and selling.
Way to go SHAKEY> But uh ...........what color. it is important.

BTW, Private sellers do not have a markup, prep and Overhead. Which is why NADA private seller listings are lower. Private sellers have usualy put far more into a car than for which they can sell it. therefore they are simply getting as much as they can. Resource recovery accounting. Essentially, anything goes.
Dealers must profit from the transaction. Real numbers.
As for your deal, sounds like you stole it. Nice!
