First of all, do you have an automatic or stick shift tranny?

Actually, first things first, go look under the hood and crawl under the car to see if it's actually leaking from YOUR car, not someone else who might have been parked n the same spot before you.

It's either transmission fluid or power steering fluid. check everything under the hood. both components should still be under warranty unless you've gone over the mileage. 3yr 36k mi for the power steering components, 7yr 70k mi for the tranny. The fluid in both is supposed to be good for 60k miles +/-. at that point you change them and drive the car for the rest of it's life, supposedly.

Did you notice any difference when you drove today? was it harder to steer, did the transmission shift harder or slip between gears?
