Wholesale is exactly that. MMR is a great tool to use, but at the end of the day it is exactly that. Not every car that is sold in America gets run thru a Manheim auction. I think the interesting thing about those numbers is how FEW cars are running. A few years ago the XF numbers running thru the auctions was WAY higher. When I was looking for my car I pulled MMR to see what cars were going for at the auction & the volume of units was significantly higher.
