I was with GEICO for decades figuring they'd be lowest. But I just reshoped all my policies, and GEICO, surprisingly, couldn't even get close to several other major insurers' quotes. I was quite surprised, and switched.

If you also have homeowners insurance, you normally get a discount by having (all?) your cars insured with the same company. Any experiences with using Hagerty, etc. for your one special car, but still getting the discount for having your homeowners and daily-driver autos with a major insurer?
