The intake is relatively easy to install. I'm no mechanic and it took me about a half an hour.
The pulley is another story. If you're not a real gear-head, I would have a shop install the pulley. (A Code3 pulley is different, though. They are very easy to install. I did that myself.)
The ECU tune can happen a couple different ways:
1) Remote Tune: you buy a cable (or special tuning device) from the tuner (or borrow one from a friend) and using an internet-connected-laptop and the special cable, the tuner can tune your car at your home while he's in Chicago or Texas or California or wherever.
2) The ol Switcharoo: You remove the ECU from the car and ship it to the tuner. He tunes it and sends it back. You reinstall the ECU in your car. Of course, you can't drive your car without an ECU, so your car is down while the ECU is being shipped/tuned.
3) The Old Fashioned Way: you drive your car to the tuner's shop and he tunes it for you and you drive home. This is great if you live near the tuner. Not so great if you don't.
