And have you ever seen a rsx type s with those mods run at the track or are you just forum reading? Personally I have never seen it.
yeah ls1's are fast, but they are mostly high mileage, handle like crap and have terrible build quality. there are a million fast cars. we were comparing the itr and rsx-s, not camaros. a low mileage itr will run about as much as you can get an rsx-s for and yes i have seen a ton of bolt on rsx-s run at sears point back when i lived in sonoma and sears point (now called infinon or something i believe) and consistently saw them in the high 13's running the same times as equally modded itr's. itr's only run about 14.6 stock, on a very good day with excellent driving. the fact is the k24 is a bigger motor, and ultimately has more power potential. you should know a thing or 2 about the potential of 2.4 liter 4 bangers. and i did hint that itr handling is nothing to mess with, but the progress groups 2.5k suspension package for the rsx-s pull 1.02 lateral g's and slaloms at over 76 mph (can't remember the exact number, but it was in scc a while back). the rsx-s is a great platform for mods, handling and power wise, the reason the integra has and always will be the favorite car of compact car modifiers.
