The dealer has not provided me with a repair/service history. Frankly, it didn't even occur to me to ask. I have asked my brother-in-law (BMW mechanic) to check out the car for me, hopefully today.

I've also found a new SRT-6 for sale from a chrysler dealership in Texas. I was quoted $39,879 (which is around the max limit of my budget) for an SRT-6 with Nav. I'm actually thinking of getting this one instead to not have to worry about condition of the used car.

Although, I just got an email from the salesman saying I will have to pay Texas and California (my home state) sales tax. Paying two sales taxes will definitely wipe out any savings i'm trying to get. Does anyone know the tax ramifications of buying a car from out of state?
