Just dog tired and beat. Did not stop till the rear was turning under its own power, at least.

I have gotten old, two years ago I threw in the pg rear after it was shipped back from their factory for installation. Dont remember much issue with getting in up???? Well I cant get it up any more. Had to lower the car on a stool to get the rear into place as I could not lift it and push in the bolts while palming the rear one handed. Thus the stool to stabilize it while I dropped the car around it. Still had to use wire ties on the ujoint rubber thing to draw up the diff. inlet shaft.

Since last time I have had cataracts surgery which shoots the close in vision in the butt. So you gotta get into some funny positions to SEE> Yuckers.
Rear went together 100 fine, no issue and I had about 0.005 radial WINK on the input shaft when done. Nice piece the wacetec as it all ligned up without issue. I reused my side bearings and replaced the seals, were cheap from wavetec. Happy with them so far, and epoxied their label inside the rear cover for future reference.

Added the synthetic lube and fired it up in gear off the ground to get some BREAKIN action without load so I could see how it goes. Both rear wheels turned forward in drive without brakes or wheels mounted - good. QUIET too.

Rompted on it a few times and it scared me, I gotta make a tape of the way this motor can rap up when you punch the throttle . . . . . er the throttles. Its like my old 153 cid chevy 2 with a flywheel that I lightened to the max......sounds like indy or something. Yikes thats fine to my ears. In neutral the motor is somewhat restricted by momma benz.

OK so photos will follow and then a drive when I get the wheels back on - after I dig out the garage door ---tools everywhere for sure. Iam hoping for this to make a difference on saturday at autocrossing, if I rest up by then.
