If you have a roadster, the short answer is NO. Been there, done that..here's what I was told at inspection. Lay something straight like a broom stick on top of your windshield frame extended to the top of the roll bar loop. Now sit in the seat, helmet on. The broomstick must clear the helmet by 2"....my old *** has shrunk to 5'7" and I can't do it...good luck
I guess if you want to change out to a racing seat, and lower it down to the floor level, you could pull it off...but I'm not doing that to my cars...don't like to do the round track that much anyway...but, the roadster won't work in the NHRA Stock class either, because it is too fast, and would require a full cage...so, I just go do test and tunes for times only. My coupe isn't a problem for either...
