You don't say it veers when you put the brakes or when the brakes are not applied.
The rear brakes are the last to require replacement unless you have a sticky caliper and they are on slightly all the time.
Have you had the front done? I doubt it as you have not done too many miles.
These cars seem affected by the hollows in the road at junctions more than others.
Dealers can always find something that needs fixing, make sure you know why something is being replaced by seeing it and having it explained to you. Ask to see the old parts before paying and specify this on the work sheet before you sign it and make sure they are from your car. Dealers don't rob people I know ... but still.
