A few months ago I purchased a eBay HID kit for my 04 coupe from a vendor recommended by one of the members here on the forum. I installed them and everything seemed to work great.

However, now I'm having a pretty annoying issue. The lights fire up just fine when I first turn on the car and turn the switch. They will continue to stay on as they should for the duration of my drive (sometimes hours at a time). The problem comes in when I shut off the car (turn off the lights). Say I drive an hour and then stop for 15 minutes and get back in...the headlights will now flash up and then go out completely. First I noticed this happening with just the passenger side, and now it is both sides. I thought maybe the ballasts were getting hot so I wrapped them in heat resistant tape but this didn't do anything at all. Hoping maybe someone has seen this before and has a solution?
