Jimmy: Thanks for the insider information. I feel the same way about extended warranties, etc. Major money-makers for the business. They are really trying to sell “peace of mind” to the consumer; I get that, but I also get that MOST of these warranties go unused and is pure profit for the business.

Another thing, if there were a “defect” on the tire, wouldn’t the manufacturer honor some sort of guarantee? WHy pay again for this agreement?
