As a rule, generally when a vendor/supplier informs a customer individually about upcoming developments, it's most prudent to allow the vendor to make the reveal to the public, not for the customer to prematurely announce 'potential' availability of a product. That puts the vendor in a tight spot when their pants are dropped in front of everyone without their consent...

My humble opinion, of course...
