Sprint Booster amplifies the throttle signal and removes that delay

You could also do a "throttle Reset"
Turn the ignition on but do not start the engine.
Push the throttle to the floor for five seconds
Let the pedal up and turn the ignition to off.
Leave the key in the ignition for at least two minutes.
Resets the throttle to factory
For most guys,
two minutes is all they ever need for
five seconds of bliss. So it is an easy proceedure to remember. Do it about once a month.
BTW "S" stands for summer, not sport. "W" stands for winter which defaults the tranny to second gear starts.
