I have the 6 spd. trans and really enjoy it. It does have a notchy feel to it but for the most part (once you get used to it) it isn't bad to shift at all. When I first got the car I did shift from first to fourth but again with experience the shifting becomes much easier. I do agree with you Marc...the roadster buyer may be older and more into "touring" then the roadster buyer. Although with me I like touring too and have the roadster.
