What is it with these staniless bolts? I think the stock material does a better job.

I am dealing with this right now. I snapped one of the ss bolts off and have totally buggered the hole. I think I will have to have a local shop weld the hole and retap. What a frustration. Mine seized trying to loosen it back off. The manis weren't sitting properly due to y pipe turned a bit. Anyway, as I was trying to loosen everything completely and line everything back up, it snapped. I did a terrible job of trying to get it out and now the hole is too big and not centered where it was.
I'm really concerned now with removing the rest of the stainless bolts, but I'll be replacing the stainless bolts with the stock aluminum bolts as soon as I can find some at a decent price. Good luck.
