While one part of me thinks it's irreverent and disrespectful, the other part of me thinks that in order to be TRULY offended, one's Christian walk must be pretty miserable. I don't think God expects us to sit around and be emotionless droids that never smile, joke, or laugh.

I'll put it this way: if you're ever going to do a ridiculous "Talladega Nights" prayer, there's no better venue than a racetrack in TN on a Saturday night in sweltering heat, where beer is the cool-down of choice.
