DYNO made some good comments over on the MB forums. I think this cross-section was of the SC Pulley from a CLS55 AMG. Certainly the measurements below aren't that of a C32. There must be some similarity though.

[quote=dyno;3037240] took a rough measurement of my pulley:

seems total thick is about 8.5mm, ONLY !

- the groove is about 3.5+ deep
- that elastomere inside is maybe 1.5-2mm

..remains only 3-3.5 total . You can save about 1mm making the groove less deep, with a more flat edge on the bottom.
so, you have total 4-4.5 ... and I would leave at least 2,5mm

therefore, down 2mm max (after making the groove 1mm less deep).. and you get a 91-4= 87mm pulley that is a 4.6% gearing increase.

TOM2112 had the following measurements of his C32 Stock SC Pulley:

"I measured the inside diameter of the pulley to be 2.04 inches (51.8 mm) and the outside diameter of the pulley to be 2.92 inches (74.2 mm) and the depth of the belt grooves to be 0.14 inches (3.6 mm). So that means you've got 7.6 mm between the inside wall of the pulley and the bottom of the groves. If you machine that down to a 65 mm pulley, that takes 4.6 mm off each side, leaving 3.0 mm of material between the bottom of the grooves and the inside wall of the pulley".

SO, I AM GOING TO GO DOWN TO 69MM ON THE C32 SC PULLEY AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I AM AWARE OF THE UPCOMING EUROCHARGED PERFORMANCE PULLEY, BUT NOT WAITING FOR IT. I WILL PLAY WITH THE STOCK FIRST.
