The deLorean has always been my dreamcar. Given unlimited funds it seems like a wasted opportunity to get one of these but I would always kick myself for not trying. Same went for the Crossfire.
But with unlimited funds I would visit DMC in Texas where they can assemble a full new vehicle using parts they aquired from the original company. Turn key models sell for $60k. But I don't was just that, I want the BEST electrical components and the hybrid sports engine from a Tesla fitted and re-engineered to fit and power the deLorean. I also want an iron-clad extended warranty program that covered everything and would replace even the lamest picky issues I come up with, like wrinkles in the leather seats. And lastly I want the car and the program to be transferrable...forever and ever.
It is getting hard to find a nice original that hasn't been turned into a time machine
