I cut 3/4 coil off the front and had to use dot 5 pads to keep from rubbing. (tallest) On the rear I cut 1 coil and used dot 4 pads. (tallest for the rear) IMO, cut less and have the flexibility to adjust up or down with the pads instead of being stuck with no adjustment upwards.
