It is not clear to me why a simple fix for a simple problem is such a issue for some (?).
My headlight covers are still clear at nearly two months post "polishing" as I described earlier. There has still been no condensation or moisture apparent within the headlight assembly.
Yes, there are TSBs... Yes, the dealer may replace the headlight assemblies... Yes, one can take their car in for a day or two (my local dealer requires at least two visits to fix anything on a TSB - a "diagnostic" visit to confirm that there is a problem and order parts, then a return visit to "fix" the issue - too much time for a minor thing!!!)... BUT, If internal moisture is NOT the problem, why run the risk of making things worse with an unnecessary trip to a dealer who may or may not do a good job for you? One thing that I've learned in 30 years of eye surgery is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
It appears that at least two other Crossfire owners have been successful in fixing their "haze" issue just as I did.
