On a Nissan side note, I was shocked yesterday when I was talking to an auto-writer friend of mine and he took delivery of a 2011 370Z Roadster for the week and the sticker price on it was upwards of $57k. The thought of that blew my mind. Crazy pricing.
Crazier yet is the fact that Altima Coupes, fully loaded, are brushing 40. For an
Altima.
One and two year-old Nismo 370Z's are selling for mid 30's... Still outrageous when you can get a SLK55 for that. Or even an E55
Regarding SCM, I work for the Dealer Parts Information Center within Nissan... I basically help dealer service managers find the parts they need based on VIN, and assist them in getting said parts as quickly as possible.
I was the Supplier Compliance Administrator for two years, where I smacked suppliers for sending non-conforming/incorrect stock to our PDC's... Fun job but it's like bagging groceries, you work your tail off just to repeat it the very next day with a different supplier.
