Just FYI---There is more than one fuse---also, temp sensor, bad fan, bad relay, bad ground and the list goes on for reasons why the fan would not come on; MANY checks BEFORE I would let my shop condemn a PCM---Still does not make sense to me, just THAT side of the PCM is bad, no other problems? But COULD BE!!! Again, if coolant is full = zero leak---you should be good, but check anyways---Still, low coolant would not cause an inop fan---overworked not inop. No matter what---My questions are---First, how long has this car been running without a GOOD fan?---Really, how long? You KNOW that it is not working; you do not know for how long. No fan = increased HEAT, and heat is bad for the motor---No matter what the reason---Also #2, if it is the PCM---How long has this car been running with a bad PCM and what other functions have been turned off (other than the fan) or running incorrectly? Rich/ Lean, what else? Think about it---this is a HIGH dollar car to repair at times---AMG parts are not cheap!!! Good luck, Jimmy
