Dan can't convex them, he's is using an indoor material that is flat. The adhesive he sends with them is for trophy emblems, again not designed for outdoor use. That's why I returned mine. I will say they look awesome, I wanted to paint mine red/green/gold but I didn't want to damage the chrome base and I plan on keeping my xfire a long time. So, I felt they would need replacing sometime in the future.
