There is a local(vegas) guy that did the 5.7swap into his base Crossfire about a year ago. I do agree that he should've used a 6.1 engine even though a 5.7 with heads/cam upgrade will make 6.1 power(if not more).
Which half of the Hemi is MB? I actually considred this swap early on and found it would be much cheaper to go with a MB engine. I realize is sounds more correct to have a Hemi in a Chrysler, but in the case of the Crossfire, the only thing that is Chrysler is the Vin number and a couple of badges. 500 and n/a 55's can be found cheap.
If those bids on the car are for real, the guy needs to lower the reserve right away!
