When we bought our auto here in the UK we were offered a service plan - monthly payment to cover all servicing cost up to 10K miles per year. Two rates, one included "friction consumables" - ie., clutch and brake pads. No discount for the auto without clutch and when the pads go, I will replace the with some after market to reduce the dust.
