Go try it out
I can't believe you're telling an obviously young and inexperienced driver like this to go out and "don't be afraid to accelerate hard" and "go out and try it". When she snaps back and comes around into another vehicle or worse, then what? I would advise to take an advanced or high performance driving course, they are very popular these days and are a lot of fun. They can teach you techniques like trailbraking and throttle control that can help you through a tight turn as quickly as possible and varies w/ the radius. Sliding, breaking traction, spinning, drifting, whatever you're doing or call it; these are all ways that reduce your forward momentum and wear out your tires! It also SLOWS you down if what you're really trying to do is go fast. I agree with a previous poster that this is probably not the car for you if your need is to drift and slide a lot. It is designed to go fast in a controlled manner, and at speeds meant for the Autobahn. Maybe you should sell your car. Just sayin'.
